Parthenocarpic fruits

Fruit is a characteristic feature of flowering plant. A friut is a ripened or mature ovary which is developed after fertilisation.
If a fruit is developed before fertilisation then such fruits are considered as Parthenocarpic fruits.
Banana is one such example of parthenocarpic fruit.
Generally ovary develops into fruit and ovules develop into seeds. But in banana seeds are absent and fruit is developed before ovary gets fertilised.
